Week 6 Experiences!!

I´m completely amazed of what I was capable of doing. Creating an interactive Power Point, was compleletely awesome. As I said before, I have used Power Point only in presenttions and some short lectures, but no I can evaluate my students using interactive tools made by myself. I think that this course is going to change completely our way of teaching and at the same time the way of learnin of our students. So, the only thing I can say about this is thanks for sharing this technological gadgets with us.

Week 5 My own rubrics..

This week was particularly hard, being the fact that in my university we are finishing the semestar, and for that reason lots of evaluations, averages and grades. This is not a justification of my lating posts but It was really hard, in this week, we learn how to develos a Network PBL (Project Based Learning) that will be our final activity in this amazing course, full of new things and useful strategies for improving our teaching and leraning activity. Web quests, were amazing but Rubistar was incredible for creating rubrics in a class project. One more skill gotten and waiting for more to create an excellent project.

Week 4 and webskills are increasing!!

We are finishing week 4 and I feel that one more week, means one more step farther in our knowledge about webskills. This week centered about reading and writing skills, we learn about ways of how to use CALL for developing these skills with our students. We read about using the internet in ESL Writing instruction by Jarek Krajka, and also the three extensive reading activities for ESL/EFL and e - books from Mei - Ya Liang. All the topics were great and everything, but I consider that the best was the description of our projects based on a Lesson plan in planning for intructions from university of Tennessee. This way everything was really organized and in that way, we can plan better our classes.

Week 3 Conclusions

To summarize a little bit this week, I must say that we learn how to keep our websites organized in any computer around the world with internet access. This Delicious page was really helpful in that matter. To continue, learning about how to apply new strategies for aural and oral skills and knowing about this CALL, I didn't know that and that was really instructive. And finally, reading that project, helped me to clarify my ideas about our final project, aiming to benefit our students as well as our institutions.

Week 3 experiences

This week for me was a little bit harder than the last two. We had more readings and some activities to perform in order to complete the assignments. I've had a wonderful experience with delicious. Now I´ve got the possibility of organizing my bookmarks and pages in relation with their contents. This really was an incredible experience and I feel that I've learned a lot. This course has already exceeded my expectations and there are still seven more weeks. That's great!!

Week 2 Quotations

To begin, I think that in this week we were able to express our descriptions of our audiences, their behavior, also their condition and finally their degree. In this aspect I can say that It was really helpful to perform this activities.
For example, the pubblication of our blog is really useful and I'm already using it with my students. In addition I consider that each week is one step further in our formation as teachers with webskills knowledge. So the only thing that I can say is thanks!..
