Week 10 LoTi and Final Conclussions!

This course doesn't stop surprising me. I found LoTi a great guide to know where we are and  what are our projections to the future. I can´t believe that this is my final posting in the course only, because I want and I´m going to keep using these tools. The course was incredible, it amazes me how with goos guiding I could perform all the activities and tasks that we had, Also it was incredible to communicate with people all over the world and share our thoughts in this wonderful experience of being teachers. Again as I said on Nicenet. My special thanks to Donna Shaw for her incredible effort and patience in giving us guidance through the course. I hope to hear news from you soon, about experiences in your classrooms with the use of this new Webskills Through the Interactive Web.

Week 9 Learning Styles.

The discussion that we had this week was interesting; because I really the multiple intelligences theory. As I said in the discussion, I think that sometimes our styles of teaching and learning are goin to be different, because I believe that we are teaching not only words and sentences, we are teaching culture and ways of living. For that reason I think that we must be open to new strategies in teaching and also learning. This week was also good, because we presented our final plan. I'm really excited and I can't wait to apply it in classes. The ending is near and time has flown. I can´t believe that we are goin to enter the last week and again thanks.

Week 8 Conclussions!

This week was really interesting, because a post my draft plan report. This was really incredible. Also this week I learn much more about autonomous work. I also created some printable exercises based on Power pont and Lauri´s ESL. I consider that the most difficult part was my report. I plan to have everything on time and really expecting the last two weeks. This really meant a change in my way of teaching.

Week 7 experiences.

We are now facing our final project, in my case project plan. This week was really interesting, I consider that I learn a lot about using one computer classroom. I still don´t have a partner for the peer evaluation, but I hope to find one quickly. In week 8 I will be doing some family activities. My expectations for the ending of this course are increasing and the things that I've learned are really useful. I´m a little bit worried about my project, but I consider that everything will be great.

Week 6 Experiences!!

I´m completely amazed of what I was capable of doing. Creating an interactive Power Point, was compleletely awesome. As I said before, I have used Power Point only in presenttions and some short lectures, but no I can evaluate my students using interactive tools made by myself. I think that this course is going to change completely our way of teaching and at the same time the way of learnin of our students. So, the only thing I can say about this is thanks for sharing this technological gadgets with us.

Week 5 My own rubrics..

This week was particularly hard, being the fact that in my university we are finishing the semestar, and for that reason lots of evaluations, averages and grades. This is not a justification of my lating posts but It was really hard, in this week, we learn how to develos a Network PBL (Project Based Learning) that will be our final activity in this amazing course, full of new things and useful strategies for improving our teaching and leraning activity. Web quests, were amazing but Rubistar was incredible for creating rubrics in a class project. One more skill gotten and waiting for more to create an excellent project.

Week 4 and webskills are increasing!!

We are finishing week 4 and I feel that one more week, means one more step farther in our knowledge about webskills. This week centered about reading and writing skills, we learn about ways of how to use CALL for developing these skills with our students. We read about using the internet in ESL Writing instruction by Jarek Krajka, and also the three extensive reading activities for ESL/EFL and e - books from Mei - Ya Liang. All the topics were great and everything, but I consider that the best was the description of our projects based on a Lesson plan in planning for intructions from university of Tennessee. This way everything was really organized and in that way, we can plan better our classes.
